I love animals and went walking alpacas for my birthday last year.

What are you looking forward to doing most when lockdown eases?

Booking holidays, my husband’s parents live in Spain and my own live in Scotland so I really look forward to booking some weekends away. I also absolutely love going to the races and am booked to go around my birthday so I am really hoping this can go ahead.

In a sentence what is the purpose of your role?

My role as HR Manager is to support the business to deliver people-related processes, vision and strategy across the company. This involves supporting managers to recruit and retain the best quality people in the right roles.

What does your role involve in terms of tasks and activities?

Supporting people with different needs across the organisation a different points in their careers; promoting people initiatives to ensure we are doing everything we can to enable people to be productive in their roles and support a healthy worklife balance

What other departments do you work closely with on a day to day basis?

My role involves working closely with all our Executive team on daily calls and also with our Leadership team who manage our local departments

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I really get a lot of job satisfaction from helping people. I have always enjoyed customer service and get my energy from interacting with others, so I love getting involved in people projects sharing best practice and learning new ideas to shape how we work together
