Speaking on the success of the summit, Mobysoft strategic director, Julie Lorraine, said: “It’s great to be a part of events such as this as it gives both me personally and Mobysoft the opportunity to really highlight the wealth of rewarding careers paths to be had within the social housing sector.

“Lord Porter is a renowned supporter of social housing and has been a vocal campaigner during his tenure on the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities leadership board.

“Hearing his own personal journey and passion for social causes, highlighted the importance of role models for young people who understandably may be feeling fearful about their future job prospects in the current climate.

“We hope that via our speaking slot today, we’ve helped inspire a new generation of talent to pursue careers within social housing, particularly the technological element; in the near future predictive analytics and automated contact resolution are going to become an essential facet for social housing providers to continue to deliver efficient, equitable, and ethical services for all tenants.”
