Mobysoft Partners with Housing Perks to Strengthen Tenant Support and Arrears Prevention
Strategic partnership combines early arrears risk identification with a tenant engagement and affordability platform, helping housing providers act sooner and deliver meaningful financial support to tenants.
Mobysoft and Housing Perks today announce a strategic partnership, bringing together early risk identification and a tenant engagement and affordability platform to help housing providers reduce arrears and improve tenant outcomes.
More than 125 housing providers use Mobysoft’s RentSense®, covering around 2 million tenancies, to identify tenants at risk of falling into arrears and prioritise early intervention. Housing Perks provides a tenant engagement and affordability platform designed to help housing providers deliver tangible financial benefits to their customers, having already reached over 1 million tenancies with more than 85 housing providers signed up to the solution.
By combining these capabilities, housing providers can move earlier and more constructively with proactive support, before tenants begin to struggle. RentSense® identifies risk through data and intelligent workflows, helping organisations prioritise the customers who need their support most. Housing Perks enables tenants to receive instant discounts on virtually all their shopping and automatically transfer these savings to their rent accounts, allowing them to pay down arrears or build a credit buffer at no cost to them.
The partnership comes at a time when cost of living pressures continue to bear heavily on social housing tenants across the country. Many households are navigating difficult choices about how to manage their budgets, and for housing providers, identifying and supporting at-risk tenants before arrears escalate has never been more important. Early intervention not only helps tenants stay in their homes — it reduces the operational cost and emotional burden of debt escalation for both residents and income teams alike.
Alastair Clegg, Director, Housing Perks, said: “Cost of living pressures are significant for tenants, and many are being forced to make difficult choices about how they manage their household budgets. This partnership ensures that when risk is identified, tenants are not just contacted — they are offered meaningful, practical support. By combining RentSense’s early insight with Housing Perks’ ability to turn everyday spending into rent payments, we’re helping tenants stay on track, reduce financial stress, and build greater stability without any additional cost to them.”
The partnership reflects a growing recognition across the sector that identification of risk is only the first step. Acting on that insight, with the right tools and the right support offer, is what ultimately determines whether a tenant is helped before a situation deteriorates. By pairing RentSense’s targeted outreach workflows with Housing Perks’ practical affordability platform, housing providers now have a joined-up pathway that moves from risk identification through to tangible tenant support in a single, coherent process.
For housing providers, the ability to demonstrate social value through technology is increasingly important. This partnership strengthens that case, offering a model where data-driven insight and practical tenant benefit work hand in hand, rather than as separate initiatives. The result is a more connected approach to income management that prioritises people as well as performance.
Chris Murphy, Director of Customer Success, Mobysoft, said of the partnership: “Our customers’ top priority is to keep their customers in safe and secure homes and provide the support they need, when they need it the most. RentSense helps landlords identify which tenancies are most at risk, allowing them to engage with the customers that need their support and focus on prevention and intervention. However, engagement alone isn’t always enough and this partnership with Housing Perks creates a clear and practical support pathway for our customers, delivering tangible financial benefits to their tenants whilst strengthening outcomes and reinforcing the social value of our technology.”
The Mobysoft–Housing Perks partnership is available to housing providers now. Organisations already using RentSense® can begin exploring how Housing Perks integrates with their existing workflows, while those new to either solution can discover how the combined offer supports a more proactive, tenant-centred approach to income management.
