Mobysoft Appoints Gary Young as Chief Executive Officer

Mobysoft has welcomed Gary Young as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking the beginning of the next phase in the company’s growth and innovation journey. Gary brings more than 35 years of global technology leadership experience to the role and officially took up his position on 11 August 2025.

With a wealth of experience in the global technology sector, Gary has held senior leadership roles across software, communications, and data-driven innovation. Most recently, he served as CEO of Peppermint Technology, where he oversaw a period of highly positive customer and employee satisfaction, significant growth and expanded the company’s SaaS legal platform and global reach, culminating in the successful acquisition by HG Capital and integration into Litera.

Gary’s career also includes executive leadership at KCOM Group Plc, where he led major investment in next-generation fibre infrastructure, as well as CEO and senior roles at Mettoni Group, Compel Group PLC, Info’Products Europe, and IBM in both the UK and Canada.

The UK social housing sector faces a complex set of challenges, from increasing demand and rising operational costs to tightening regulations and higher tenant expectations. Mobysoft’s advanced AI and predictive analytics platforms provide housing providers with the insight, efficiency, and foresight to address these issues head-on. Under Gary’s leadership, the business aims to accelerate the adoption of these technologies, helping social landlords not only meet compliance requirements but also improve services and reduce costs.
