MHS Homes Group, who has around 9,500 home around Kent, has invested in RentSense to help them identify and support tenants that are struggling with their rent, and create capacity for officers to offer the appropriate support.

Stephanie Goad, Operations Director at mhs, commented:

“Many of mhs customers have been affected by the pandemic, rising unemployment and the impact this has on household incomes. We have seen a sharp increase in the number of customers claiming Universal Credit, and many for the first time. As a result, our arrears have increased and our officers need more time to support these tenants.”

With increasing pressures on collecting rent and more time required to support tenants, mhs investigated suitable solutions to help them resolve these challenges.

\”We worked with Mobysoft to test how the solution might help us to target the accounts that needed active management, to ensure that our team was being as productive as possible,\” stated Stephanie.

Part of that process was participating in a RentTest, that enables landlords to accurately measure what impact deploying RentSense would have on an organisation.

The advanced algorithms within Rentsense set it apart from its competitors and the trial showed us that there was a clear business case for moving forward with RentSense. We spoke to current clients who all reported a positive experience and return on investment.”

“It’s great to be working with mhs. We are looking forward to working with them and supporting them to get the most out of their investment. They join a long list of new customers in 2021 as more landlords continue to work with us.” Stated Paul Evans, Chief Commercial Director at Mobysoft.

Mobysoft is a UK software company working with over 150 social landlords, built on more than twenty years of understanding how housing teams work.

Our products turn the data landlords already hold into a clear next action rather than just insight. RentSense does this for income, giving officers a prioritised list of which accounts to contact, when and why, with automation handling the cases that never needed an officer. RepairSense does it for repairs, hazards, resident vulnerability, component condition and property access, bringing everything about a home together so teams can see which ones need someone this week, and why.
