Rent Arrears Module
For housing organisations, the pursuit and recovery of rent arrears is a continuous and often costly battle.In response, Mobysoft has created a dedicated service that automatically messages those in arrears, texting them the minute they are in ‘the red’.
Issuing text message reminders as opposed to time-delayed auto-generated letters, or time consuming manual calls gives housing organisation the best chance of recovering arrears before they have a chance to escalate.
The system is automated and follows a set of ‘rules’ developed in conjunction with the housing organisation, thus reducing the need for staff time and freeing up officers to manage more problematic arrears.
One-third of rent arrears fall under the low-level category (i.e. the early stages of debt), so a simple but direct reminder can often solve many of these cases quickly and cost effectively.
