Mobysoft slams door on no access
Mobysoft are proud to announce that Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), has announced an 80% reduction in no access for maintenance and repairs visits, and a saving of £200,000 over the past three years, coinciding with the introduction of Mobysoft’s specialist automated SMS text message reminder service.
Mobysoft’s system automatically texts the tenant a reminder in advance of a maintenance or repair visit, checking their availability. They are then given the opportunity to confirm the visit or arrange a convenient alternative.
Social Housing Providers often struggle to find a cost effective way of dealing with the costly issue of no access, whilst still being able to offer high standards to their customers.
Mobysoft’s Managing Director, Derek Steele says: “Missed appointments are a huge issue for both Social Housing Providers and tenants, and Social Housing Providers lose thousands of pounds every year because tenants are often not at home to allow access to properties.
Derek continues: “By using Mobysoft’s product, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has seen a significant reduction in the number of missed appointments, saving RBH a huge amount of money, whilst also increasing tenant satisfaction.”
Mark Fisher, Head of Repairs and Maintenance at RBH said: “Since working with Mobysoft we’ve seen huge improvements in our productivity and also significant savings, I can confidently say that the main contributing factor to this has been the introduction of automated SMS text message appointment reminders, and the ability for our customers to cancel them easily if they’re unable to be present to allow access.”
Mark concludes: “We look forward to working with Mobysoft on further solutions in the future.”
